Astronaut tells NASA: “Hundreds of UFOs surrounded me, I’ve never seen anything like it”

John Glenn: “They’re all over the sky.” This is Friendship Seven. I’ll try to describe what I’m experiencing right now. I’m in the middle of a huge mass of very small, glowing, luminescent particles. I’ve never seen anything like it. They’re rounded a little bit; they go through the capsule and look like little stars. I see a whole shower of them.”

Check out this incredible audio file where we can hear astronaut John Glenn’s astonishment after his capsule was surrounded by numerous strange UFOs.

This audio transmission can easily be described as one of the most surprising pieces of evidence of the mysterious alien presence during manned space missions.

This old audio file allows us to hear a small portion of the conversation between the Mercury-Atlas 6 (MA-6) capsule, piloted by John Glenn, and CAPCOM, on February 20, 1962, the first manned orbital mission of the United States.

Launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida, it successfully completed a mission of three orbits around the Earth, reaching a maximum altitude of approximately 162 statute miles and an orbital speed of approximately 17,500 miles per hour.

The Mercury spacecraft Friendship 7 landed near Grand Turk Island. The mission duration from launch to impact was 4 hours, 55 minutes and 23 seconds.

In the audio file, Mr Glenn refers to his capsule as “Friendship 7” and can be heard describing what a “bright blue horizon” looks like behind him as the sun approaches sunrise.

Then, suddenly, he realizes that something peculiar is happening around him, as he is “intercepted” by numerous UFOs that have engulfed his pod. Here is the transcript of the event and below the video:

John Glenn: This is Friendship Seven. He’s blinded by the scope in the clear. It started right when I hit that mark; I’m going to go to the dark filter to see him appear.

CAPCOM: Understood.

John Glenn: This is the Friendship Seven. I’ll try to describe what I’m seeing here. It looks like a large mass of very small particles, which are lit up very brightly as if they were luminescent.

I’ve never seen anything like it. They round out a little bit; they come through the capsule and look like little stars. A whole shower of them coming towards me.

John Glenn: They come around the pod, come right in front of the window, and they’re all brilliantly lit. They’re probably an average of 7 or 8 feet away, but I can also see them all below me.

Intrigued by the events, CAPCOM asked Glenn to describe the objects and whether they were impacting his spacecraft.

CAPCOM: Roger, Friendship Seven. Can you hear any impact with the capsule? Short.

John Glenn: Negative Negative They’re too slow; they won’t get me faster than 3 or 4 miles an hour. They’re going about the same speed I’m going. They’re just way below my speed. Short.

John Glenn: Yeah, they have a different movement than I do, because they circle around the pod and then move away the way I’m looking.

John Glenn: Are you getting it? Short. There are literally thousands of them. Having described the objects, Glenn receives no response from CAPCOM and wonders if he is in contact with anyone as he continues to talk about the strange objects around his spacecraft.

John Glenn: This is Friendship Seven. Am I in touch with anyone? Like.

Finally, nearly five minutes after describing the events, the CAPCOM responds, saying that Glenn seemed a bit “confused” and was asked about his oxygen levels.

Oddly, CAPCOM did not address the strange occurrences with Glenn, who explains that the mysterious particles are still around the spaceship.

After realizing that CAPCOM was not responding, Glenn decided to photograph the mysterious objects. CAPCOM then asked him how big the particles were and whether they were moving or floating with him.

CAPCOM suggested the particles may have come from the spacecraft, but Mr Glenn said that was not the case.

Interestingly, after the successful orbit of “Friendship 7”, another astronaut aboard the “Aurora 7” capsule, named Scott Carpenter, also saw the mysterious objects in space.

NASA scientists have finally investigated the mystery and concluded that the objects seen in space were just ice particles trapped by sunlight.

NASA said there was ice buildup on the outside of the capsule and that what the two astronauts saw were ice particles floating freely.

However, Mr. Glenn was not convinced by the explanation. During his second orbit, he reported seeing objects again for miles in each direction.

What do you think? Did Glenn have a sensory experience, or was it really Ice? As always, we’ll never know… or will we?
