So Aliens Are Real? This Footage Was Never Released — Joe Rogan

A dramatic image appearing to show an unidentified humanoid body has reignited online speculation about one of humanity’s oldest questions: are we really alone in the universe? The claim, circulated alongside discussions associated with Joe Rogan’s podcast, suggests that previously unreleased footage could provide evidence that extraterrestrial beings have already been recovered or encountered on Earth.

The accompanying thumbnail depicts two podcast participants surrounding an eerie, thin-bodied figure with an enlarged skull and dark eyes—the classic appearance popularly associated with so-called “Grey aliens.”

Yet despite the extraordinary presentation, there is currently no independently verified evidence that this image or similar viral footage shows a genuine extraterrestrial organism.

The renewed fascination comes at a time when UFOs—now officially referred to by the U.S. government as Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, or UAP—have moved from fringe discussion into congressional hearings, military investigations and mainstream scientific debate.

Former military pilots have described objects apparently displaying unusual flight characteristics, while whistleblowers and former government personnel have made far more dramatic allegations involving secret recovery programs, unidentified craft and alleged biological material.

Some of these individuals have appeared on major podcasts, where long-form conversations have exposed millions of listeners to claims that were once discussed mainly within UFO communities.

However, testimony and extraordinary footage are fundamentally different from scientifically confirmed evidence.

Establishing that a body originated beyond Earth would require researchers to obtain the physical specimen, document its chain of custody and conduct independent anatomical, chemical, isotopic and genetic examinations.

Multiple laboratories would then need to reproduce the findings. A photograph or video—even one that appears remarkably convincing—cannot provide that level of proof.

Modern visual effects, physical props, edited archival material and increasingly sophisticated AI-generated imagery make authentication especially important.

The history of UFO culture contains numerous examples of supposed “alien bodies” and autopsy footage that generated enormous publicity before being challenged, exposed as fabricated, or left without enough reliable evidence to establish their origin.

Government investigations have similarly emphasized the distinction between something being unidentified and something being extraterrestrial. The Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office has investigated reports from military and government sources but has said it has not found verifiable evidence establishing extraterrestrial technology.

NASA has also stated that there is no conclusive evidence that UAP have an extraterrestrial origin, while supporting more rigorous collection and analysis of unexplained observations. None of that proves intelligent extraterrestrial life does not exist.

Astronomers have discovered thousands of planets beyond our Solar System, including worlds located in regions where conditions might permit liquid water, while powerful observatories such as the James Webb Space Telescope can now examine the chemistry of some distant planetary atmospheres.

Those discoveries make the scientific search for extraterrestrial life more compelling than ever. But they do not validate every viral alien image. The figure shown in this thumbnail should therefore be treated as illustrative or unverified unless its original source and physical evidence can be independently authenticated.

If scientists ever obtain genuine extraterrestrial biological material, the discovery would transform biology, astronomy and human history overnight. Until that happens, the most sensational footage deserves investigation—but not automatic belief.

The question of whether aliens exist remains open; the evidence required to prove they have visited Earth remains extraordinarily high.
