Lawmakers and whistleblowers have pushed for more transparency about UAP records, secret programs, and government investigations.

Former intelligence official David Grusch told Congress in 2023 that he had been told about a hidden crash retrieval and reverse engineering program, but his public testimony did not include physical proof. The Pentagon’s AARO historical review later said it found no empirical evidence that the U.S. government or private companies have reverse engineered extraterrestrial technology. This does not mean every UAP case is solved, but it does mean strong claims need public documents, sensor data, physical material, and independent testing. The fair way to explain the issue is that UAP transparency is a real political debate, while claims about alien bodies or hidden extraterrestrial programs remain unverified. People should ask for open evidence, careful investigation, and clear records before accepting any extraordinary conclusion
