February 27, 2015. Someone standing in a busy parking lot looks up and catches something hovering directly above the lot. A dark ring shaped object with a textured, almost segmented surface, sitting motionless in the evening sky above stores, street lights, and rows of parked cars. Ordinary daily life going on below, and something completely out of place sitting just above it all.
What makes this footage hard to dismiss is the setting. This is not a remote field or empty highway. This is a public shopping center, full of people, cars, and cameras, yet only one person seems to have noticed and captured it. The object holds its position, dark and defined against the cloudy sky, while everyone below goes about their evening unaware. Nearly a decade later, this footage has resurfaced and people are once again asking what exactly was hovering over that parking lot that day.
