Newly released government UFO files describe something straight out of a science fiction film. According to the documents, witnesses reported a larger object, referred to as a mother orb, appearing to release smaller orbs into the sky during a two day period in October 2023. Law enforcement officials on the ground observed these orbs behaving in ways that investigators still could not fully explain even after an official review.
Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb, who has studied the unsealed documents closely, says the case remains genuinely unexplained. The letter came directly from the director of the Pentagon’s All domain Anomaly Resolution Office, the agency responsible for investigating exactly this kind of phenomenon. Loeb has framed the situation as both a national security concern and, if every human made explanation is ruled out, a potential scientific breakthrough unlike anything seen before. The Pentagon itself has admitted that roughly 40 percent of unidentified anomalous phenomena cases remain unresolved, and this mother orb incident sits right at the center of that growing list.
