The Cashen Gap Encounter (1985) – Ireland’s Mysterious UFO Sighting
In 1985, near Cashen Gap in County Kerry, Ireland, several witnesses reported seeing a strange object moving silently through the night sky. According to accounts, the object emitted a bright white glow and performed unusual maneuvers that did not resemble any known aircraft.
Some witnesses described it as a disc-shaped or oval craft that hovered briefly before accelerating away at remarkable speed. Because of its unusual movement and lack of sound, the sighting attracted attention from local residents and UFO researchers.
