\nOn the night of August 25, 1958, in H\u00e4rja, western Sweden, Ivar Neumann and his wife were staying in a small rented summer cabin owned by a farmer named Oskar, who lived in a larger house across the yard. The property was located in the agricultural lands of V\u00e4sterg\u00f6tland, a rural region of Sweden.<\/p>\n

\nAround midnight, Ivar was sitting at the cabin’s kitchen table reading a book. His wife had already gone to bed. As he put the novel away to light his pipe, he looked out the window beside him and saw a figure moving near the outhouse. Because it was dark, he initially thought it was the farmer Oskar.<\/p>\n
Ivar resumed reading, but shortly afterward felt a strange sensation of being watched. Turning to the window, he found himself face to face with a face just inches from the glass\u2014separated from him only by the window.<\/p>\n
At first, he thought it was a person, but he soon realized the figure was different. The being appeared to be about the height of an 11 or 12-year-old child. Its head was covered by something resembling a hood or helmet, which emitted a cold blue light. Its body was covered by a kind of bright blue jumpsuit or uniform.
\nIts skin appeared lighter than its clothing, possibly grayish. Its eyes were large, bigger than a human’s, and extremely dark, almost completely black. According to Ivar, the creature’s gaze caused an inexplicable sensation and seemed to hypnotize him.
\nWithout feeling fear, Ivar put on his shoes and coat and left the cabin to follow the being. He saw the creature cross a low fence and head towards a field behind the property.
\nAs he ran along the gravel path, Ivar reached a wheat field and saw something he had never imagined finding: a disc-shaped craft, about 25 meters away. According to his account, the object was approximately 12 meters in diameter.
\nThe small being had reached the craft and was beginning to climb a long ladder. After entering the interior of the object, Ivar heard a sound similar to that of an electric motor increasing in intensity. The three telescopic legs located below the craft retracted, and the object began to slowly ascend.
\nIvar tried to move, but realized he was completely paralyzed. The craft then accelerated, passed over some nearby birch trees, making them sway with the air current, and disappeared into the night sky in a few seconds.
\nAfter the object disappeared, Ivar regained movement. He noticed a strange smell in the air, similar to ozone, and returned to the cabin. When he told his wife what had happened, she didn’t believe him and suggested he might have just had a nightmare.
\nThe following morning, Ivar returned to the site accompanied by the farmer Oskar. In the wheat field, they found marks in the ground: three deep impressions, about 30 centimeters deep and 20 centimeters wide, in addition to the pressed vegetation forming a circle approximately 12 meters in diameter, corresponding to the size of the alleged craft.
