It performed incredible maneuvers, accelerating almost instantly, changing direction without slowing down, and disappearing from sight within seconds\u2014movements far beyond the capabilities of known aircraft at the time.<br class=\"html-br\" \/>The encounter was tracked by multiple radar systems, visually observed by trained military personnel, and later supported by infrared footage recorded by another U.S. Navy aircraft.
