According to reports, a supposed UFO crashed in the village of Roros, Norway, in 1947. Now, a group of ufologists believe they have found its wreckage in a frozen lake. A search team has been assembled to investigate the mysterious artifact.

Search operation

According to the team, a large object was detected under the surface of Lake Djupsjoen with the help of sonar . “It looked like a rocket and made a lot of noise. It turned 180 degrees and fell into this lake behind us,” said photographer and ufologist Rue Røstad, who is leading the investigation.

Ufologists have begun a search operation in a frozen lake in Norway, looking for the remains of a UFO (unidentified flying object) that is believed to have fallen into the water 77 years ago.

What happened

The alleged spacecraft was seen by residents living in the village of Røros, Norway, in 1947. The resumption of the search was announced this week, in a report by the Belgian broadcaster RTBF.

Witnesses say that in 1947, the mayor of the village of Røros saw a strange object fall near his house, which ended up falling into the lake, and the story has been passed around ever since…

Photographer Rue Røstad, who is involved in the operations, said reports said the UFO looked like a rocket and made a lot of noise. Several investigations have been carried out over the years, but all efforts have failed to find any kind of object in the waters.

Now, researchers have launched a new operation to find the alleged craft. The initiative was taken after sonar revealed an object more than ten meters long beneath the surface of Lake Djupsjoen.

Røstad says that, using sonar, ufologists found an object measuring 14 meters long by three meters wide. With this, the photographer is able to expand the capture…
