Aliens, UFOs and other strange phenomena have been reported since ancient times. The idea of ancient astronauts or that humanity is a species created by extraterrestrials has long been disputed.
From the work of Eric von Däniken to the ideas of Dr. Steven Greer, the idea is that in our past, benevolent extraterrestrials helped us build civilization. This leads many to wonder: if they were so open to humanity in the past, why are they so secretive today?
Some theorize that the extraterrestrial species we are talking about are different, with those in the past having left the planet thousands of years ago and those reported today being more recent arrivals.
What if both ideas were correct, if the alien visitors came from both the past and the future, and if the aliens traveled through time instead of space?
We must begin by considering time as a construct that is experienced differently by each species that is subject to it. How time passes for an insect would be very different from how time passes for you.
Time is a construct into which all things fit, but that doesn’t mean it’s the same for aliens.
Biologists know that different species on Earth seem to experience the passage of time in radically different ways. So perhaps aliens also experience time differently than Homo sapiens.
While it would be interesting to know whether aliens also govern their lives by the revolutions of their planets around their parent star, it is possible that they are not sensitive to time in the same way that we are.
The difference may be as simple as how you measure time. Here on Earth, we base all of our time measurements on the rotation of the planet, but there are other ways to measure time, and some are much more accurate.
Aliens’ brains may be structured in a completely different way than ours, which could mean that their perception of time is different, who knows, they may not even have the concept of time.
Speculating on how time travel could happen, Professor Michio Kaku said one way to do it would be through the use of wormholes.
The laws of physics suggest that the intense gravity of a black hole is enough to tear the fabric of space and time, making the creation of a wormhole possible.
And these wormholes would be black holes; the intense gravity would cause a rupture in the very fabric of space and time. It’s something we often see in movies and read about in science fiction literature.
This brings us back to the idea of creatures with different lifespans who view time differently. So what do you think, are these extraterrestrial visitors humans from the distant future?
