Bryce Zabel, a CNN reporter, has done a wonderful job of presenting the detailed Roswell incident on his personal blog. He has collectively mentioned the statements of key witnesses who ensure that Roswell disclosure is on a fast track. The legendary incident that happened in 1947 was indeed real, according to moonwalker Edgar Mitchell. He claimed in his interviews that he had informants who told him about the inside story of Roswell, but he never disclosed their names .
“Make no mistake, Roswell happened. I have seen classified files that show the government knew about it – but chose not to tell the public,” said Edgar Mitchell, Ph.D., Apollo 14 astronaut.
In February 1971, after the successful completion of the mission, the crew of Apollo 14 returned to Earth. Alan Shepard and Edgar Mitchell became the fifth and sixth astronauts to walk on the surface of the moon. While Shepard chose to live in glory, Mitchell became the main troublemaker for many years.
He publicly accepted the existence of aliens after his time on the Moon and held to it until his death. He accused the US government of hiding the truth about alien contact. Immediately after his return, Mitchell left NASA and immersed himself in the study of UFOs, ancient history, and human consciousness.

Mitchell grew up in the small town of Artesia, just a few miles from Roswell Air Force Base, where the crash allegedly occurred. The astronaut said that many of his neighbors, acquaintances, and friends worked at the base, and what he heard from them was enough for him to consider the Roswell incident a real UFO crash. Mitchell did not release the names of his informants, citing the fact that they all signed a confidentiality agreement and he did not want them to get into trouble.
Aliens Stopped Nuclear War
According to Mitchell, he once had a confidential conversation with a Navy admiral who secretly told him that aliens had indeed established contact with the government in the early 1940s. They were interested in Earth weapons, particularly the atomic bomb. At the beginning of the Cold War between the USSR and the USA, aliens frequently came to Earth because they feared nuclear war and were trying to influence the world’s elites in some way. ( Source )
Growing up in New Mexico gave him a unique insight into the Roswell area, he told the UK’s Mirror in 2015.
“White Sands was a testing ground for atomic weapons and that’s what the extraterrestrials were interested in… They wanted to know about our military capabilities. My own experience talking to people made it clear that the ETs were trying to stop us from going to war and help create peace on Earth.”
According to a 2015 story, the Apollo 14 astronaut said:

However, he clarified in his interview with the Observer that he did not make these statements, but at the same time he somewhat agreed with them. He said: “I don’t remember speaking to them personally. I don’t know where they got that information from. I didn’t make those statements. Someone added to my words. Those weren’t my exact words, but I don’t necessarily disagree with those statements.”
However, Wikileak’s 2016 emails say that Mitchell was concerned about space weaponization. Despite the fact that aliens can be violent, as depicted in many science fiction stories, the noted astronaut called them non-violent in his email. In January 2015, he emailed Podesta, requesting that he call an urgent meeting to discuss Disclosure and Zero Point Energy (ZPE). He was concerned about peace in space.
Mitchell wrote: “My Catholic colleague Terri Mansfield will also be there to update us on the Vatican’s understanding of the ETI. Another colleague is working on a new Space Treaty, citing engagement with Russia and China. However, with Russia’s extreme interference in Ukraine I believe we must seek another route to peace in space and EPZ on Earth.”
Mitchell emailed Podesta again on September 18, 2015. He wrote: “As the Space War race heats up, I felt you should be aware of several factors as you and I schedule our Skype conversation. Remember, our nonviolent ETI from the contiguous universe is helping us bring zero point energy to Earth. They will not tolerate any form of military violence on Earth or in space.
Why Believe in the Roswell Crash?
Bryce Zabel writes: “This story has hundreds of witnesses who testify to roughly the same storyline. Some were firsthand witnesses to wreckage and even the recovery of bodies, and several accounts came from deathbed confessions. Many other witnesses were family members who knew the secret their fathers and husbands had kept inside them for decades. There were dozens more who attested to the extremely tight security and transportation of material after the Roswell crash.”
Jesse Marcel was an intelligence officer with the 509th Bombardment Group at Roswell Army Air Field and was tasked with investigating the Roswell crash in 1947.
Additionally, the hype surrounding the Roswell story has increased. The New York Times began covering the issue in the summer of 2020 and is continuing its investigation into the wreckage from the crash. Additionally, former AATIP chief Luis Elizondo gave his candid take on the 1947 Roswell crash in New Mexico and more in an interview with the Roswell Daily Record.

Elizondo: “I’ll share with you… some of the observations that have been made by some people. Before I was part of AATIP I had no idea about Roswell, other than there was some sort of supposed accident at some point and some farmer found debris – but during my time with AATIP, there was some very interesting anecdotal information that suggests there wasn’t just one accident, there may have been two accidents and that somehow it may have been related to some kind of testing that was being done at the time at White Sands, and that material was recovered.
And this material that was recovered, samples of this material, fell into the hands of private citizens, some of them but… supposedly the largest sections of debris were recovered by the US government.”
During the interview, Elizondo said that while he was head of AATIP his job was to focus on current UAP incidents, but he added that he had conversations with so-called “graybeards” in the Pentagon who had been involved with UAPs since Project Blue. It was from these individuals that Elizondo learned what likely occurred at Roswell in 1947.
Elizondo: “These individuals were convinced that the events in New Mexico were not fiction. In fact, it was a very real event and that some very exotic material had been recovered… And so there was a subsequent effort to try to be very dismissive of what occurred in New Mexico. But again I will share with you that my understanding was that it was not one, it was two accidents and it may have been related to some type of nuclear technology testing that we were doing, atomic and/or nuclear technology at Los Alamos at the time.”
