In a video captured by the US Navy an unidentified flying object is seen dancing across the screen before crashing into the ocean, capturing the imagination of UFO hunters around the world. There is currently little information about the object, except that the Pentagon has confirmed the footage is authentic and the video is now available online thanks to UFO Documentary .
“The US Navy has photographed and filmed ‘spherical’ shaped UFOs and advanced transmedia vehicles; here is some of that footage,” filmmaker Jeremy Corbell said on his website, where he shared the clip and details of the object.

According to Corbell, the video was captured 2 years ago in 2019, but has since been made publicly available. It is believed to be from inside the USS Omaha’s Combat Information Center as it sailed off the coast of San Diego, although this is unconfirmed.
Although the video is short, it appears that the object is capable of both air and water travel, making it more advanced in transmedia travel than any other known vehicle, military or otherwise. The object itself is incredibly small, with radar images showing a solid ball measuring just 2 meters in diameter. However, it appears to be fast, reaching speeds of up to 254 kilometers per hour during its aerial flight.
An underwater search was carried out shortly after its detection, but the object has long since disappeared.
There is currently no known vehicle capable of flying in the air for an extended period of time, then switching to water and continuing to move. Throughout the 1900s the concept of a flying submarine was explored but major air and fuel supply problems meant the idea never took off. In 2008 the United States was preparing to award contracts for a flying underwater vehicle but after Lockheed Martin cancelled its plans for a submersible drone it appears that the contracts never materialized.
