Following the ‘discovery’, YouTube channel Paranormal Crucible posted a video, saying: ‘What is this? Is it evidence of an advanced civilisation or time travel?’
The website claims the artifact has a Sumerian writing style, also known as cuneiform, that has been around for several thousand years, according to the Express.
Conspiracy website tothedeathmedia.com reported: ‘According to reports, during archaeological excavations in Fuschl am See, (in Salzburg), Austria, researchers unearthed a mysterious 13th century artifact with cuneiform writing that strangely resembles a mobile phone.
‘This type of writing is typically found in present-day Iran or Iraq (ancient Mesopotamia).

The lack of information online, and the fact that any object with ancient cuneiform writing could end up in Austria, has caused hardened conspiracy theorists to doubt the discovery.
Conspiracy theorists say there have been several discoveries of out-of-place archaeological artifacts that defy history.
According to the Inquisitr, archaeologists are said to be covering up such discoveries.
Scott Waring, editor of UFO Sighting Daily, however, is convinced that this is evidence of aliens visiting ancient civilizations on Earth.
“It is evident from this cell phone-like device that someone with advanced knowledge of the future created it,” he wrote.
‘They say the language goes back tens of thousands of years… a really cool discovery.’

Dr Mitchell says stories from people who manned missile bases during the 20th century support his claims.
“Other officers at bases on the Pacific coast told me that their [test] missiles were frequently destroyed by alien spacecraft,” he said.
He previously said that supposedly real-life ETs were similar to the traditional image of a small frame, large eyes and head.
He claimed that our technology was “not as sophisticated” as theirs and “if they had been hostile,” he warned that “we would have disappeared by now.”
