On June 12, 2023 at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, Dr. Steven M. Greer, a renowned founder of the Disclosure Project, delivered an exceptional presentation revealing compelling evidence related to secret and unauthorized black budget projects associated with UFO/UAP operations. For 33 years, Dr. Greer has been a dedicated volunteer for the Disclosure Project. His last event was held 22 years ago, on May 9, 2001, and was attended by 22 people from various sectors of government .
In a 3-hour event Dr. Greer recently presented his investigations into covert programs and he was joined by six courageous whistleblowers who shared compelling information about covert operations.
At this lengthy outreach event, one of the most compelling testimonies was given by D.C. Long, an Army combat veteran who served in the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg, North Carolina from 1997 to 2013. He was medically retired due to injuries sustained during a combat jump. His father was also a government contractor at Fort Bragg, adding an interesting connection to the military base.
DC claimed he was on duty when he and his father, a government contractor, were allegedly contacted by the US Army to visit Fort Bragg to set up a shooting range and indoor range at the training center.
DC and his father were reportedly escorted by two different people to a classified location known as “Range 19” in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, in late 2010 or early 2011. Upon their arrival they were taken via freight elevator to an underground facility. The place seemed ordinary at first, but they soon discovered a peculiar sight:
“A monolithic slab suspended in the air with nothing to support it. The sensation of intense vibration in DC’s body added to the surreal atmosphere. Surrounding the slab were rocks with strange black boxes on top, apparently related to levitation technology.”
DC recalled his astonishment saying:
“I looked down and there’s absolutely nothing underneath this damn thing, nothing holding it up.” The enigmatic slab was about 20 feet long, 7 feet tall, and remarkably heavy. It would have been impossible for any human to lift or move it without significant equipment. “The scope of the equipment that would be needed just to get it off the ground… right now I’m still on my knees and I’m looking… there’s absolutely nothing there… everything… just vacant.”
“It looked like a granite slab ,” the soldier recalls, “but it was the shine that caught my attention the most. It was as if it had a smooth, translucent surface and there was something behind it.” This enormous monolithic slab exerted an inexplicable fascination that intrigued and confused them.

As they explored further they noticed two individuals behind the slab effortlessly rotating another massive boulder with one hand. The soldier described how these men displayed incredible strength, casually manipulating objects that seemed impossibly heavy for human hands. The escort’s urgent warning to move on prevented them from investigating further, leaving them with more questions than answers.
After spending only 15 to 20 minutes in the underground facility DC and his father returned to the hangar only to find that everything they had previously witnessed had vanished without a trace. The monolithic slabs and boulders were gone, leaving no sign of their previous presence.
“We weren’t even 100 meters below them,” the soldier recalls, “whatever they were shooting, we would have heard. But it was dead silent, as if there was nothing there.”
Interestingly, less than 30 minutes have passed since they first encountered the mysterious granite slab and the extraordinary feat of strength displayed by the unknown men. The absence of any construction equipment to exclude the muffled sound below reinforces the enigma surrounding the entire episode.
Upon further reflection the soldier recounted the strange vibrations he had felt in the underground facility, similar to being near a concert loudspeaker, minus any audible noise. “It was a strange sensation,” he admitted, “like being in the center of an inexplicable force.”
What did they stumble upon that day? Why were there seemingly superhuman individuals in a top-secret military facility? And most importantly, where did it all disappear to in the blink of an eye?
The military chose not to release the names of the people he recognized on the escort team. Despite the passage of time, DC has remained tight-lipped about the classified incident, hinting at a potential revelation that could send shockwaves through the military community.
Shawn Ryan, a former Navy SEAL, engages in a captivating Q&A session with DC Long as he recounts his disconcerting experience during a visit to the secret underground facility at Fort Bragg. Here is their intriguing conversation:
Shawn Ryan: How far away from the slab did you feel the vibration? Did you feel it before you saw it?
DC Longo: No, no. It was when the freight elevator doors opened and I looked in and I could see. It wasn’t any further than you know from here to the camera pod. About six feet away from me when we were going in. But what stopped me was that it was so close. And what stopped me was the closer we got I realized that in front of me with my dad and the other escort in front of him it was almost like jumping into a trap, you know, when you’re on the trail you just hit it and go. That was the first thing I noticed. And then the closer I got this intense vibration I got really curious. Yeah, I couldn’t help it. I had to find out what it was. And, um, I really shouldn’t have.
Shawn Ryan: When did the vibration stop?
DC Long: It didn’t stop until I got right in the center looking at the top. You can see this black box. Um I tried to describe it before and it was extremely difficult. It just looked like a little black GMTK toolbox that a military mechanic would have or carry. It wasn’t very big and it only had two wires coming out of it and it looked like it was wrapped in a box and you could almost see something inside it but it wasn’t mechanical, it wasn’t moving they had no lights it was just opaque but it didn’t really seem to serve any purpose. But the other rock had the same thing on top.
Shawn Ryan: Are you saying you saw two rocks and a slab?
DC Long: Yeah, and they were on all three at the same time. The slab itself, the monolithic slab, was about 12 to 15 inches off the ground. Whenever I knelt down to tie my shoes I could look through it and I saw the first stone that I noticed, and it was just sitting on the ground. Okay, so I’m going to look back and that’s when I saw the other stone that had the same black box on top that was being moved and that was levitating.
Shawn Ryan: Did the slab have a black box near the monolithic slab? Where was it located?
DC Long: Yes it did. It was at the top near the center where I felt most of the vibration. It was like I got closest to it where it was most intense in the center of the slab where that box was on top of it.
During the visit, DC and his father were not allowed to take notes or photographs. After the visit, they were asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). DC declined, feeling that the experience was too surreal and unlikely to be taken seriously. However, soon afterward, everything changed for DC’s father. His businesses and assets were seized, reducing him from a successful contractor to a destitute and bankrupt individual.
DC later suffered a life-threatening injury during a military exercise, potentially related to his father’s mysterious experience. After this incident he lost contact with his father who became homeless and seriously ill.
