NASA Funds Theological Conferences Amid Fears UFOs Are “Demonic”

Nick Pope, a former British Ministry of Defence official, has said NASA is “quietly funding” theological conferences because of suggestions that the presence of UFOs in our skies could have something to do with demons or negative spirits.

In an interview with Patrick Christys on GB News he stated that the space agency wants to “be ahead of the game”.

“I personally don’t believe in demons, but many people do and certainly the Bible talks about these things in terms of unclean spirits,” Pope said. “There is probably a faction in both the US and the UK who think that some aspects of the UFO phenomenon are demonic. One of the reasons for this is a passage in the biblical book of Ephesians which speaks of Satan as the ‘ Prince of the Power of the Air ’.

“I think it is undeniable that many of the world’s great religions have begun in recent years to think seriously and debate theologically about the possible consequences of the discovery of extraterrestrial life. We know that the Catholic Church, for example, has issued several statements on this subject. One of them says that there is no doctrinal objection to the existence of aliens because, according to them, man cannot impose creative limits on God,” he continued.

NASA has quietly funded some theological conferences that have addressed this issue. I think it’s more a matter of them playing it safe and thinking that if it’s true this time they want to get ahead of the game and not get caught up in the kind of clash between science and religion that we saw in the Middle Ages, for example, with Copernicus and Galileo.

The former Defense Ministry official further explained that “we cannot rule out” any possibility of extraterrestrial life.

Taking the latter into consideration, Christys asked about the different hypotheses that are being used in relation to the current revelations about unidentified anomalous phenomena, which include that they are secret technologies of world powers or even devices belonging to “extraterrestrial” beings.

“One point here is that none of these theories are mutually exclusive. It is possible to imagine a scenario in which all of these things are true, that we have an extraterrestrial presence and that some UFOs are attributable to secret prototype aircraft, missiles and drones, sometimes ours, sometimes an adversary’s. And yes, even the idea that there is another intelligence that we share this planet with – the ultraterrestrial – that is down there, somewhere beneath the oceans, beneath the ice,” Pope responded.

“I’m a little bit skeptical about that last one because I think we would have picked up more signals from them and if they were that advanced they would have done things like launch satellites that we could detect. So I’m less sure about that. But having said that when we hear from some of the whistleblowers in the US intelligence community, people like David Grusch, they’re very careful in their terminology and using the term non-human intelligence.

The reason they use that phrase is that they don’t limit it to just the idea of aliens. But they even consider things like what happens if there are other hidden dimensions and something is interfering in one of them.

This sounds like science fiction, but you know the Large Hadron Collider, the large particle accelerator, is actively looking for this kind of thing. So yesterday’s science fiction is today’s science reality,” he concluded.
