The former crew member revealed that he witnessed a huge UFO hovering over a US Navy ship , and it was so big that it even stopped the rain.
Bob McGwier was aboard the USS Blue Ridge during a typhoon in 2008 when a giant “glowing” ship reportedly appeared overhead. It was so large that it shielded the entire ship from the rain.
During a typhoon, a US Navy aircraft carrier was engulfed by a mysterious “ship” so large it blocked rain from falling on the vessel, a person on board said.
Bob McGwier, who claims to have worked on classified projects aboard several Navy ships, previously revealed a frightening encounter on a nuclear submarine.
But it wasn’t the only time he witnessed unidentified objects.
A huge UFO over a warship
Speaking to Chris Lehto on his YouTube channel, McGwier recalled a massive shape looming over the USS Blue Ridge in 2008.
McGwier explained:
“While en route from Thailand to Vladavarstark via port call in 2008, we hit a typhoon with 90 knot winds and several meter high waves. I was on the bridge and noticed that although we were in a typhoon and it was pouring rain, no rain was falling on the ship. I looked out the window and saw a glow above us in the sky, it wasn’t very bright, but I could see it. Whatever it was, it was blocking the rain from the entire ship, from bow to stern.”

Bob described the lights as “yellowish” and appeared to be on a “flat surface.”
As he continued to watch, the object “suddenly became brighter” before taking off “in a straight line.”
As soon as he did, “it rained again.”
McGwier concluded:
“The logical deduction is that it was a gigantic spacecraft that took off.”
UFO sightings by US Navy personnel have become common over the past two decades.
UFOs and the Pentagon
Investigative filmmaker Jeremy Corbell released several videos featuring mysterious craft, which the Pentagon later confirmed were authentic.

Speaking to the Daily Star last year, Jeremy revealed that nine US Navy warships were “harassed by up to 100 UFOs” over a month-long period.
The encounters were so disconcerting that the US Congress held its first hearings on unidentified spacecraft in 50 years in June.
